This month's artist is photographer Alina Markiewicz.
Alina, who has been living in Lower Mainland since the early nineties, is equally engaged by both nature and urban environments as subjects for her photography. Her work conveys emotion and draws the viewer in. This month's display is a beautiful catalogue of her work and well worth visiting the gift shop to see it "in the flesh".
All her work is hand printed on archival papers and in limited editions.
In addition to her photographic skills, Alina is also responsible for the stylish layout of all our work in the gift shop (thank you). Her themed shelf displays are a beautiful work of art in themselves - please call back to the gift shop regularly as she continually updates this work too.
