It's summer! Like many of us, we're prepping for a holiday and will soon be winging our way toward family and friends. Best to not wait till the 11th hour to remember the hostess gift! For one thing, it's fun to look for something just right for a particular person. It's also a symbolic gift, meant to express gratitude to the hostess, whether they entertain us in grand or low-key style. And who doesn't love receiving a gift chosen expressly for them? Right now, the Blackberry Gift Shop is full of tempting pieces that are sure to please. Pop on down to choose something before you go. Several days ago, I chose a beautiful hand-painted scarf for my mother-in-law. Every once in a while, I drift over and look at because it’s so lovely. Swelegant, as Cole Porter would say. You’ll be just as lucky. The shop is open seven days a week from noon to 4:00 p.m., and a Blackberry artisan will be on hand to assist you.
