Boo! Did you miss us?
And the answer should be, no. Even though the Blackberry Artist's Society gift shop has been in transit recently, we've been open every single day to serve you our platter of fine artisan delights (and a big thank you to our many old and new customers who came out on Grand Opening day to shop with us - it was awesome to see so many of you, and make new friends).
I am very happy to say that we have finally settled in the north-east corner of the old arts centre building, our new home and gallery, and will be serving up locally crafted art henceforth.
We will be open for late night shopping during the gallery opening reception, welcoming the work of the Vancouver Metal Arts Association, sharing work by twenty jewellers and sculptors in Beyond Precious. The opening reception runs from 6pm to 8pm, with refreshments, a cash bar and artists talks.
Please do drop into the gift shop - we're opposite the main boardroom on the ground floor. It's kind of our housewarming party, so don't be shy - come on in and say howdy!
We like making new friends and catching with old ones :)
